WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT THE STUDIO 
Since the mandatory statewide closure due to COVID-19, for your assurance I am taking the health and safety of my clients, my fellow stylists, and the community very seriously as the salon reopens. There are many new safety precautions and sanitation measures that are being implemented.
Below is an overview of what you can expect when you return to my chair for your appointment.


BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
I may reach out to you prior to your appointment to touch base with more specific/relevant information regarding your upcoming service.
  • All clients, employees, and stylists will be required to wear a mask while at the studio. Your stylist may also be wearing eye protection for further safety precautions.
  • Please arrive on-time for your appointment and allow an additional 5-10 minutes for check-in.
  • Please come to your appointment alone. No extra guests or children will be permitted at this time.
  • Please come to your appointment with CLEAN dry hair. 
  • Confirming your appointment is required. Failure of confirmation will result in loss of appointment and a fee of $50 or 25% of your total service cost will be charged. Please consider that there are many clients also waiting to be seen.


WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO THE SALON
I ask that you contact me directly rather than approaching the reception staff at the front door of the salon.
  • Once you have safely parked your vehicle, please text me that you have arrived for your appointment. This text will be your initial check-in.  Please wait in your vehicle until  I contact you that I'm ready to see you.
  • While approaching the Salon Republic entrance, the doors will be locked and remained locked during all hours of operation. Please wait outside the doors practicing social distancing until I come get you. This is to ensure that only clients, staff, and other guests are in the building, and is closed to walk-in traffic. 
  • Upon entering my studio, you maybe asked to have your temperature taken using a no-touch digital thermometer. In addition, you will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to your service.
  • Temporarily suspending all complimentary services; NO head or neck massage.
  • No snacks or beverages will be provided during this time, please be sure to eat prior or pack a small snack and beverage of your own.


DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
  • My self and guests will be required to wear a mask while in the studio and to wash/sanitize hands before your appointment.
  • I will be following strict sanitation and disinfecting procedures all day long. These procedures include but are not limited to frequent hand washing, disinfecting chairs, styling stations, and tools, disinfecting door handles and knobs, and all high touch areas. Capes and smocks are one-time use only, per client.
  • You are asked to keep your personal items to a minimum and may be asked to disinfectant any items sitting out with a wipe. 
  • Please keep in mind that there may be an increase in price for color services depending on your current hair needs. 
  • Hugging and handshaking and anything other than the required contact to provide your service should be avoided at this time.
  • Minimize talking, conversations will be permitted for consultation purposes.
  •  If you are paying with cash, please have the exact amount, no change will be given and no personal checks. I do offer Apple Pay, Paypal, Zelle, and Venmo, for contactless payment.

​If you have an underlying health condition, I kindly ask that you wait at least 14 days to return to the salon.  In addition, if you have been ill or around someone who has been ill, please wait 14 days to reschedule your appointment.
